NOTE:
Your boards must be clearly identifiable as a pair. Certainly this can be done by putting your name on both boards, but a strong design composition will link both boards graphically (without upstaging the content being presented).
Text to be included:
GTF
Prof. Cabrinha
Arch 222
Spring 2007
Each Drawing should be labeled.
A Title (if you can't think of one, look back at the assignment names.)
Short descriptive text / narrative of the design process and your design proposal.
Four descriptive sentences can suffice. No more than three paragraphs.
(If you kept text on your blogs, then you can selectively take text from there.)

regarding the diagrams, it sounds like we are supposed to have one for centralized, one for distributed, and one for hybrid. but that doesn't make sense, seeing that our design only encompasses one of those schemes. how many diagrams should we have, and what are they supposed to relate to?
Stephen-
Go into SketchUp and find one good overall view that successfully explains what you were trying to achieve with each of your schemes (centralized, distributed, and hybrid). That is your diagram. Your midterm boards are intended to show the progress that you have made thus far in the class, therefore, it is important to show all three of these schemes, even though you only chose to proceed with one of them.
Should there be a description/narrative for each image or for the overall mid-term?
Stephen -
Kristen is right on the money.
Erin -
This is really a design decision on how much you wish to explain about each. The narrative is intended for the over-all design process, but if you wish to write a sentence about an image you should feel free to do so.
thank you... and sorry, i have another question... for the orthographic views, it says to have a plan, elevation, and something else.. can the something else be an axon? or does it have to be an elevation?
Erin -
This is a great question - you get an extra credit point for asking it.
YES - an axonometric is a an orthographic perspective. Just be sure that in SketchUp the camera is set to Parallel Projection.
i was wondering if it is possible to export lines on the other side of a transparent wall with a dwg...or how i would go about doing that
just choose the wireframe view option in Sketch-Up, when you export with the wireframe option selected, you will get all the lines.
