Not sure this is the right place to post this, but I just wanted to let everyone know that the computers in the DCL are running CS1. This means that if you tried to use the paint bucket to fill your section cuts it probably didn't work.
The live paint tool (which, without getting into detail, treats voids as objects) was not present in CS1 hence making this project pretty frustrating for those using the DCL. There are a few ways around this which involve adding another layer (underneath) and using the pen tool to create these colored vector objects.
I think that there should be some leniency toward the due time for this project as a lot of people were reliant on the DCL (aka PC users who couldn't export sections). I'm sure the GTF's will be getting email regarding this problem so I hope this helps clear up the issue.
No stressing about DCL issues. The important thing is that you posted what you could on time, and made your best efforts. There are ways to do this in CS1, it is just so much easier with the live paint tool. Hopefully CS3 should be arriving in your mailboxes any day now.
